There is a lot of stuff on the internet, and in real life, and it’s hard to know what’s good. Every month, we’re sending a list of stuff we have encountered digitally or physically that is worthy of a recommendation. You’re welcome.

Eliza:

This take-down of the falsity of celebrity ‘art gurus’ from Rosanna McLaughlin, who as usual takes no prisoners.

Twin Peaks, which I just started watching and I’m obsessed, sorry I’m so late to this party.

The 20th anniversary of Pride & Prejudice return to cinemas – I completely unironically think this is one of the best films of the 21st century and I’m happy to defend this viewpoint to the death.

The hot takes on Just Stop Oil and their attacks on paintings have almost entirely been bad, in my opinion, but I appreciated this one.

Tirzah Garwood at Dulwich Picture Gallery – amazingly sharp little windows into other worlds (closes this month!).

Sunset Boulevard (1950)’s meta reflection on Hollywood’s boom-and-bust cycles of taste (I also just watched this for the first time and am obsessed).

Isabella:

The grotesque and humorous drawings of Chilean artist Fernando Krahn, paired with words by Joan Brossa, are currently on view at Barcelona’s newest genre-bending gallery, El Piset. It’s invitation-only for now, but if you ask nicely, you might just get in before the show closes.

A classic, but I can’t stop thinking about Joan Miró. There’s something about simple shapes and primary colors in the middle of chaos that makes everything feel okay.

I recently discovered the queer artist couple Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore. They made gender queer portraits while fighting back against the Nazi’s!

This video by Bon Appétit on how my favorite potato chips, Bonilla a la Vista, are made. I think a big container now goes for over $50 in the US?! Insane—but honestly worth it.

The tender, hugging figures of Miriam Dema at BETA Contemporary Gallery.

Every single day I use my 'Dyke Tactics' carabiner by us, the lesbians. I haven’t lost my keys once, and I feel cool as hell.
